Jeremy Renner In The Bourne Legacy

According to Deadline, Universal announced today that it has offered the lead in the new film, The Bourne Legacy, to actor Jeremy Renner. With production set to begin in September, this new movie centers around an operative from a covert government program similar to, but much more dangerous than the Treadstone program that spawned Bourne. The film will be written and directed by Terry Gilroy, who also wrote the first three Bourne films.

Terminator 5 rumours spring back into action!

-Though the film is not the only rumour claiming to be back.

With the recent news that Universal are interested in buying the rights to the Terminator franchise which is currently owned by a hedge fund named Pacificor many rumours are again resurfacing on what direction the movie may follow and who may be getting involved.

The last outing, Terminator Salvation directed by McG was planned to be the start of a new trilogy, however Salvation under-performed in the States (though still making big bucks over seas), and the then owners of the Terminator franchise - Andrew G Vajna and Mario Kasser facing bankruptcy and selling the rights to The Halcyon Company which in turn sold the rights to Pacificor, all hope of the McG trilogy faded fast, though some people were not too upset by that notion.

Despicable Me - A not so Despicable feature!

Not having much love for animation, and it certainly not being my choice of genre, my partner dragged me kicking and screaming to the nearest Odeon to watch this. And what’s more, I’m paying the premiere 3D ticket price for the both of us!…….Who’s distributing these 3D specs?…..DIOR?!

So I finally let all the bats free out of my wallet in an attempt to cheer myself up with a combo of nachos with extra cheese sauce to keep myself occupied while my better half (beginning to wonder) enjoys something ‘he thinks’ I’ll love.

Do you know what’s worse than paying for a movie you never wanted to see in the first place? Having your partner saying ‘I told you so’ all the way home!
