What the hell is going on with the 411!

Apologies readers. Because of a massive work load I have at the minute due to catching up from when I was ill, having time to write posts and read - comment other blogs has become impossible. Though my work load is easing now, it will be another week until I return to blogging.

However, things are going to be gearing up on the 411 in March, we will have more permanent writers than just me so this can’t happen again, we will also be giving you news on The Movie411 Blog Awards 2011 that will be taking nominations earlier this year than last. Also our fabulous Christian James will be launching a sister site to this one very soon, more news on that in March.

I would also like to thank all the guest writers that have submitted articles to the 411 this year already. One of our favourite guest writers Melissa Bradley of Melissa’s Imaginarium will be more of a permanent fixture on here from now on as so many have enjoyed her work and lucky for us she loves it here. And Ali of Dark-Blue-Jeans will also become a permanent writer on the 411.

If you would like to guest write for the 411 to promote your own blog then please e-mail themovie411@live.co.uk as we are still accepting guest posts at present.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to Dezmond of Hollywood Spy and Alex J Cavanaugh for their guest posts and support.

So that leaves me to say I hope you have all had a great week, and have an even better one this week….
Best Wishes from Miami…..Demps xx

The 28 year old British actor Henry Cavill who’s mostly know for his co-starring role in Tudors was confirmed as the new Man Of Steel yesterday.

Cavill is one of the present rising stars in Hollywood and had been linked to the roles of Batman, James Bond and a previous version of Superman earlier in his career.
But now he has finally bagged the title role of Clark Kent/Superman in Zack Snyder’s 2012 reboot of the franchise and the news is already getting a big thumbs up by fans.

He’ll be back! Arnold Swarzenegger set to return to film.

The ‘Governator’ who has not long left office, is said to be reading three scripts already, to which he confirmed with Krone.at, an Australian publication.
One of these scripts was something he had been thinking about before his term in office involving an older military soldier who is ordered to kill children just before the war ends but doesn’t do it and rather gets the kids to safety at the risk of his own life, and is also based on a true story.

The script itself is written by Randall Wallace (Braveheart, We Were Soldiers) called With Wings As Eagles. If Arnold accepts the role he would be playing a veteran Nazi soldier, something that never really worked out for Tom Cruise in Valkyrie.

Scre4m: Will Gale Weathers scream for the last time?

Scream 4 hit’s the theatres this April 15th which will be set 10 years after the events of Scream 3. Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox Arquette and David Arquette are all reprising their roles and the movie has been confirmed to kick off a brand new trilogy, which will focus on mainly a new cast.

Scream 4 had its own audience test last week, and the feedback had been mainly positive, even some saying it is the best one since the original, and though these comments may come from die hard fans that have been longing for another sequel for years it does show some good optimism for the new instalment.
Even though it received an audience screening luckily not many details have been spilt to ruin it for us, especially when this sort of movie thrives upon guessing who the killer might be.
